As successful, consistently growing company, we are interested in new developments in the area of renewable energy sources and are involved in research. We examine a possible expansion of our area of business based on our own testing records and intensive assessments by scientists.

RGE’s main focus is on small wind turbines and storage technologies. At the beginning of this year, the company has started test operations of small wind turbines with a nominal power output of 300 W and 5 KW. What is special about it is that those small wind turbines are quiet and low maintenance vertical rotors which are suitable for use on commercial grounds, for agricultural holdings, as well as for single- and multi-family houses. In the future, these small wind turbines should be made available to the consume to make them to a large extend independent of energy providers. 

In addition, we are evaluating useable solutions in the area of energy storage, which would present a sensible addition to our energy production with photovoltaic plants. The idea behind this is that energy storage facilities should guarantee power supply also during night time and at times during which the wind is calm and photovoltaic plants or small wind turbines do not work. Only energy storage facilities which function and are profitable can guarantee the power supply generated by renewable resources permanently and without interruptions. This will be an important step toward the energy supply of the future. Our company is primarily focusing on stationary units on buildings, especially single family homes. This important development helps to advance the entire industry of renewable energies, which we support through our commitment and cooperation with the science departments at universities.
